3DMark is a benchmarking suite that measures a computer’s performance in game-related workloads. It selects tests for different types of systems and evaluates the CPU and GPU by rendering demanding, game-like scenes in real time. Faster benchmark runs produce higher scores.
Scores can be compared with results from systems using the same hardware, helping identify possible cooling, configuration, or component issues and assess overclocking potential. 3DMark also estimates frame rates in a selection of popular games. Custom settings let users adjust resolution and test demands, while stress tests check overclock stability and cooling effectiveness.
