3-D Tetris is a puzzle game that moves falling-block play onto a three-dimensional field made up of five vertical layers. Players rotate blocks horizontally and vertically, then position them in one of four directions to fill the layers. A shadow beneath each block indicates where it will land, while a radar displays the state of the layers and the next block; the camera can also be adjusted manually.
In 3-D Tetris mode, a completed layer disappears and awards points, while blocks stacked above the well cost the player a layer. Variants of the mode focus either on scoring points or clearing all five layers across multiple levels. In Center-Fill, blocks must be arranged symmetrically around central blocks; completing a pattern clears the layer. The game also includes Puzzle mode and settings for difficulty and falling speed.
