An expansion for Sims 2 in which Sims create and run their own businesses. In The Sims 2: Open for Business, the player arranges the shop, chooses its merchandise and materials, hires employees, and manages their morale. Sims can craft items to sell and build a clientele by meeting customer demands and keeping shoppers loyal.
Different customers call for different sales techniques, such as adjusting a price or choosing an approach suited to a particular shopper. Business management also involves training and promoting employees, as well as firing them when necessary.
