A fantasy action RPG with tower-defense elements, Dungeon Defenders Eternity follows a team of heroes defending Etheria from the army of the Old Ones. Players choose from 12 classes and fight enemies with weapons and abilities or build defenses that attack foes automatically. The campaign supports co-op for up to four players.
Completing missions helps heroes gain levels and equipment. The game also features a crafting system for creating and modifying items from blueprints, pets that grow and gain activatable abilities, and combat consumables. Alongside the campaign, players can take on bonus missions and challenges, while the endgame has been rebalanced.
